However, there is one production, one TV series that is worth watching on Apple's platform because it is one of the most interesting series of recent years.

The Morning Show is a TV series based on Brian Stelter's best-selling book, "Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV".
The series focuses on two women played by the amazing Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.
Jennifer Aniston plays the role of Alex Levy, a TV presenter recognizable and loved all over the United States. Together with her partner on the air - Mitch Kessler (played by Steve Carell), she hosts one of the country's most popular morning shows. They are extremely successful and rich people and their lives seem to be perfect.

Unfortunately, one day Alex's future career in television becomes much less certain. Her partner is accused of sexual harassment by several female coworkers. What's more, Mitch used his position to cover it up! As Mitch's closest coworker, Alex is in a very uncomfortable situation. People start to spread rumors that she must have known everything but she remained silent.
Alex loses popularity and the public boycott her program to show its solidarity with Mitch's victims. Under these circumstances, the show producers want to replace Alex and Mitch with a new, dynamic duo. The woman tries so hard to regain her lost position. Alex has no choice but to compromise with the TV station and therefore takes a very risky decision.
Alex knows that Mitch has to be fired but she still fights for herself. She needs a new, popular partner. She encourages the TV station to hire an inexperienced, but courageous and sassy junior TV presenter working for a little-known TV station in the US.

Hiring Bradley as Alex's partner on the air will help the station save the morning show and Alex will keep her job.
Bradley (played by Reese Witherspoon) has never dreamed of such an opportunity, but now that she receives it, she decides to accept the challenge. Her spontaneity and honesty win the viewers' sympathy very quickly. As we can guess, this makes Alex terribly jealous.
The producers are satisfied, but only for a moment because Bradley is too interested in the sex scandal with Mitch in the lead role. She begins her amateur investigation which worries many important people.
The Morning Show is the movie industry's answer to the Me Too movement. It shows us how easy it is to take advantage of people when you have a high position and a lot of money.
By the way, the series allowed Jennifer Aniston to prove to a wider audience that she is not just a comedy actress and that she can play poignant, dramatic roles. Reese Witherspoon is simply amazing as Bradley. Both ladies create an electrifying and dynamic duo on the screen.

The Morning Show turned out to be a great success in the US. That's why, at the end of last year, the shooting for the second season of this TV series began.
At the moment, all 10 episodes of The Morning Show are available on the AppleTV + platform.
