Do you know that feeling, when you watch a TV series, you become interested in it, and then it turns out that the production is not popular enough and is finally canceled? This is what happened to me after watching two seasons of Good Behavior. What a pity! I believe that if the show ever hit Netflix, it would be quite a success. Unfortunately, it never happened, probably for legal reasons...
And although the series is considered a failure, I must say that I strongly disagree with this general opinion. What's more, I highly recommend watching Good Behavior to all of you! This is a unique opportunity to watch Lady Mary from Downton Abbey playing a junkie and recidivist speaking with an American accent!

Actually, Michelle Dockery plays Letty, the main character of Good Behavior. Letty is a very complicated woman in her thirties. The series starts when she gets out of prison. She spent a few years there for stealing and multiple drug offenses. However, she gets out for good behavior.
At first, she's trying hard to change for the better and make an honest living. But it soon became too much for her. She's falling back into old habits very fast. And that's why she starts robbing clients of posh hotels. During their absence, Letty sneaks into their rooms, taking all their valuables.
And while Letty's “business” works flawlessly, one day she gets caught. As it turns out, by a hitman named Javier.
This is how Letty's acquaintance with the second most important character in this series begins.
At first, Letty is convinced Javier will kill her for stealing his things. However, he "just" wants to punish her. That's why he forces her to help him complete his next "assignment".
As we might guess, Letty is not thrilled with the prospect. But Javier leaves her no other choice. If Letty chooses not to help him, she can kiss her life goodbye.

The cooperation of the two main characters cannot be called harmonious. However, Letty and Javier experience a lot together, and when their mission comes to an end, it turns out that they don't want to part with each other for good ...
Good behavior is a series that shows us why some people find it so easy to break all social rules It makes us realize that being a social outcast is often not a choice, but the only chance for survival. Moreover, this is the next TV series where the main characters do terrible things and the viewers are rooting for them all the time.
This is not a new trend in TV series, but the number of productions that deal with this topic makes me really surprised. It definitely says a lot about us as a society
Thus, Letty and Javier are antiheroes who manage to gain our sympathy. And Michelle Dockery and Juan Diego Botto are extremely convincing in their roles.

Each episode of Good Behavior presents the main characters from a new, previously unknown perspective.
And although it is sure that the two seasons of Good Behavior will not be continued, I still think that this production is worth watching.
