The fourth season of The Crown - a true masterpiece!

There are some TV series that we don't watch but we are all aware of their value. The Crown falls into this category.

You don't have to love the British royal family to watch this show. What's more, I think that The Crown is a perfect choice for everyone who is rather skeptical about the idea of monarchy in our modern world.

The Crown landed on Netflix four years ago. Since then, it became a global phenomenon. The series focuses on the life of Elizabeth II. The first season begins when she becomes the queen of the United Kingdom. The next seasons show us the following decades of her reign. We get to know Elizabeth not only as a queen, but we also become witnesses of her private life. We see how she interacts with her husband, her children, her sister, etc. We admire her dedicated service to her country but we can't ignore her indifference towards her own family feelings.

The fourth season of The Crown starts in 1979. Margaret Thatcher wins parliamentary elections and becomes the first female prime minister in the UK. The lukewarm relations between Thatcher and Queen Elizabeth become one of the central themes of this season.

What's more, the latest season of The Crown tells us the story of the marriage between Prince Charles and Diana. We watch them being so unhappy in the marriage they didn't want. We observe Charles torn between his life with Diana and his desire to be with the love of his life - Camilla. We cannot help but sympathize with Diana, unable to win Charles' heart.

Moreover, we watch princess Margaret, the Queen's sister, struggling with depression. We finally meet the Queen's Elizabeth younger sons: Edward and Andrew. We can feel the atmosphere of the United Kingdom governed by the Iron Lady.

Many people say that the fourth season of The Crown is the best season of this show. Why is it so?

First of all, Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher and Emma Corin as Diana have joined the cast of The Crown. Anderson's Thatcher and Queen Elizabeth played by Olivia Coleman create an unforgettable duo on the screen.

Emma Corin - a young debutante in the film world has won our hearts as Diana. After her performance in The Crown, she will definitely receive many interesting offers from film producers.

What's more, we watch the love story between Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles. Everyone who is a little interested in history knows that that romance shook the very foundations of the British Royal Family.

And finally, I think that it is really fascinating to follow the story of people who are still alive (of course, in most cases). It satisfies the human need to gossip, to pry into the affairs of people who are so famous and rich and - as we learn from the show - deeply unhappy.

It's morally questionable if it's right to shoot the series about the private lives of people we really don't know. What we watch in The Crown is some kind of an interpretation of the real events, an interpretation of the series' creators. However, apparently, this interpretation seems appealing to us. And that's why we all love The Crown and we're looking forward to watching the next seasons of this fantastic show!

There are rumors that the Royal Family is very dissatisfied with the latest season of The Crown. If you want to know why - start watching this great show available on Netflix!

The Flight Attendant and Kaley Cuoco in a brand-new role

For every fan of The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco will stay Penny forever. However, time doesn't stand still. New TV series are released every day and every actor dreams of making his mark in film history with more than a role in a sitcom...  Cuoco was given an opportunity to change her image - and she took it. The Queen's Gambit – one of the best TV series of 2020!

Two months ago I was pretty convinced that the fourth season of "The Crown" will be the biggest attraction on Netflix this fall. However, my opinion changed when Netflix released "The Queen's Gambit", a new mini-series based on a novel written by Walter Tevis.  Source: m.imdb.com We live in a world where it's just impossible to watch every TV series. We can choose from so many options! Of course, this situation has its pros and cons. But one thing is certain - it's more and more difficult to attract viewers. TV series are trying so hard to stand out. The story must be complicated, the action must be very fast, plot twists are indispensable...  "The Queen's Gambit" doesn't share these characteristics. And even so, it's one of the biggest hits of Netflix this fall! The series tells us the story of Beth Harmon - an outstanding chess player. The story begins in the mid-1950s when Beth is eight and sent to an orphanage. Her mom, who was
