5 reasons to watch "Killing Eve" on HBO GO!

Source: refinery29.com

First of all, I should mention that "Killing Eve" appeared on BBC more than two years ago. Since then, three seasons of this series have already had their premiere on TV. However, as a person who didn't have an occasion to catch up on many TV series until during these long months of quarantine, I have just ended the third season of this show. And I can say quite frankly that it's definitely one of the best TV shows I have ever watched! That's why today I want to use this opportunity to express my admiration for "Killing Eve" and recommend it to all my readers!

Why should everyone watch "Killing Eve"?

1) For its original and engaging plot

The series tells us the story of two incredibly intelligent women. Eve Polastri is a bored MI5 security officer, fed up with her job which doesn't give her the thrill she needs. Eve is super interested in female assassins and fantasizes about being a spy. One day, thanks to a few lucky coincidences, her dreams come true. She gets a job as an MI6 secret agent. Eve is supposed to chase an international female assassin - Villanelle, who is the second main character of this series. When Eve starts to go after Villanelle, a chasing game begins. Soon Eve and Villanelle will discover previously unknown sides of their personalities.

2) For the amazing cast

Eve Polastri and Villanelle wouldn't be so magnetic, complex, multidimensional, and interesting if they weren't played by Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer - two fantastic actresses. We all know Sandra Oh thanks to her role in Grey's Anatomy. But Jodie Comer is the fresh blood of British cinema. So young and already so successful, Jodie Comer will soon become an international superstar!

3) For its music

The soundtrack of "Killing Eve" is half the battle. Thanks to this wonderful series I had an occasion to become acquainted with the music of an American band Unloved. The songs of Unloved perfectly harmonize with the atmosphere of horror of "Killing Eve".

4) For its locations

As an international assassin, Villanelle travels a lot. Every episode of "Killing Eve" allows us to travel with Villanelle. Thanks to her we can visit London, Paris, Tuscany, Berlin and many other interesting places in Europe. Travelling with Villanelle is like a travel programme. During the pandemic this show really helps us to forget about the current situation in the world - even if for a moment.

5) For its fashion

Everyone who has already watched "Killing Eve" knows that Villanelle has a terrible weakness for luxury and fashion. Every time Villanelle appears on the screen, we can admire her fantastic and original outfits. Combined with beautiful views, it's just another feast for our eyes!

The Flight Attendant and Kaley Cuoco in a brand-new role

For every fan of The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco will stay Penny forever. However, time doesn't stand still. New TV series are released every day and every actor dreams of making his mark in film history with more than a role in a sitcom...  Cuoco was given an opportunity to change her image - and she took it. That's why we can all watch her playing the main role in a new HBO TV series: The Flight Attendant.  Source: en.martincid.com This production is an adaptation of the book of the same title written by Chris Bohjlian.  Cuoco plays the main character - Cassandra - an American flight attendant and a reckless alcoholic. Escaping from responsibilities, self-indulgence, and addiction – that's Cassie's whole life. As we can guess, that doesn't help her making good life choices. One day, during a flight to Bangkok, Cassie meets a very handsome guy. Already in Bangkok, she spends a night with him. The next day, she wakes up in his bed in a hotel room... and the handsom...

The Queen's Gambit – one of the best TV series of 2020!

Two months ago I was pretty convinced that the fourth season of "The Crown" will be the biggest attraction on Netflix this fall. However, my opinion changed when Netflix released "The Queen's Gambit", a new mini-series based on a novel written by Walter Tevis.  Source: m.imdb.com We live in a world where it's just impossible to watch every TV series. We can choose from so many options! Of course, this situation has its pros and cons. But one thing is certain - it's more and more difficult to attract viewers. TV series are trying so hard to stand out. The story must be complicated, the action must be very fast, plot twists are indispensable...  "The Queen's Gambit" doesn't share these characteristics. And even so, it's one of the biggest hits of Netflix this fall! The series tells us the story of Beth Harmon - an outstanding chess player. The story begins in the mid-1950s when Beth is eight and sent to an orphanage. Her mom, who was ...

The fourth season of The Crown - a true masterpiece!

There are some TV series that we don't watch but we are all aware of their value. The Crown falls into this category.  You don't have to love the British royal family to watch this show. What's more, I think that The Crown is a perfect choice for everyone who is rather skeptical about the idea of monarchy in our modern world.  Source: oldaintdead.com The Crown landed on Netflix four years ago. Since then, it became a global phenomenon. The series focuses on the life of Elizabeth II. The first season begins when she becomes the queen of the United Kingdom. The next seasons show us the following decades of her reign. We get to know Elizabeth not only as a queen, but we also become witnesses of her private life. We see how she interacts with her husband, her children, her sister, etc. We admire her dedicated service to her country but we can't ignore her indifference towards her own family feelings.  The fourth season of The Crown starts in 1979. Margaret Thatcher wins par...
